Dear Sonu:
I hope this letter finds you in great spirits, health and perfectly safe during this COVID 19 lockdown. As this lockdown is getting extended repeatedly, each one of us is forced to stay at home. This lockdown has given us plenty of free time.
Initially I would spend most of my free time watching TV or playing video games. Then, the schools started online education. I learnt to operate many online meeting applications such as MS Teams, Skype, Google Meet, Zoom, etc. I enjoy learning through these apps.
I also learnt a few cooking dishes. My mother helped me learn these dishes. I also took YouTube's help.
I have been trying my best to learn many new things. I hope you are also utilizing your time optimally. Do share with me what new things you have learnt during the lockdown. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours affectionately,
abc

Hi Linda,
How's it going?
Sorry I haven't been in touch for such a long time but I've had exams so I've been studying every free minute. Anyway, I'd love to hear all your news and I'm hoping we can get together soon to catch up. We just moved to a bigger flat so maybe you can come and visit one weekend?
How's the new job?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Helga
