I wanted to tell you about the water conservation fair held at our school last week . The students were made aware of the problems going on due to wastage of water and also were guided how to conserve water . They shared various methods with us which i found great to share with you .
- one should always turn off the taps after using water to avoid wastage of water .
- showers should not be used for bathing and instead buckets should be used . This uses much less water than showers.
- use water judiciously for laundry , vessels and cleaning purpose .
- water the plants and grass with watering can and not the water pipes .
- store rain water to use it later .
- look ways for recycling of used water at you home and even in school .
This small ways to save water can bring a huge change . so try to follow as much as you can because it helps to conserve our earths natural resource .
