Dear Amrit:
I hope this letter finds you in fine fettle and soaring spirits. Well, I am over the moon. The reason is I am just back from a very exhilarating expedition to Ladhakh, in Jammu and Kashmir. It is place of pristine natural beauty, meant only for adventure lovers. We a group of 8 friends went to Ladhakh on motorbikes. The journey itself was the best part. Ladhakh actually is a high altitude desert. However, there is no dearth of water there. the panoramic beauty of the landscape is breath taking. Indus Valley near Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong lake, Thiksey monastery, etc are the places of attraction. There are many other places of interest there. We visited as many as we could afford. The best aspect about the expedition was pure nature. Nothing is easily available, yet we enjoyed the most there. The expedition would have been much more fun if you were with us! Next time we both will plan to visit Ladhakh with our families together. The rest is fine. The schools have reopened. Give regards to uncle and aunt.
