Dear Sir:
I am writing to Your Excellency to express my deep appreciation about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by your good self. The people of our country lack cleanliness urge. The general state of surroundings in our cities, villages, public buildings is pathetic.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a national level campaign launched by the Government of India. This event was flagged off by president Pranab Mukherjee. It covers 4041 statutory towns to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country. This campaign had been officially launched on 2 October, 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself wielded the broom and cleaned a road. Modi addressed the citizens of India and asked everyone to join this campaign. The campaign is India's biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million government employees and schools and colleges students of India participated in this event.
