Dear Rajiv,
Hope this letter finds you in good health. This year I did not fully enjoy my Diwali vacation .There was assessment tests in school just after the vacation. There were two exams even before the vacation fell.So I had to study the whole vacation.
The history and geography syllabus was so long and boring that it ruined my Diwali.Although during the night I saw some crackers on the rooftop. It did not quite satisfy me.I was tensed about my other competitive exams as well. This year I gave my FIITJEE exams as well. I had to prepare hard for it.So this year the Diwali vacation was not good at all.How did you spend your Diwali? Please pay my sincere regards to aunty and uncle.
Yours lovingly,
Jishnu Mukherjee.
Hope it helps

Dear Shivam,
Thank you very much for your letter. This summer was a memorable one. In June, I went to a school camp. It was very interesting. There we were getting ready for the upcoming exams, went to the pool, a library, an exhibition hall, visited the archive, which stores old letters, newspapers, magazines, books on the Great Patriotic War.
July was the most memorable month. I spent it in Lucknow with relatives. The weather was wonderful. All-day long we swam in the river, sunbathed, examined the local attractions, visited the museum, cinema, and a huge gift shop. The sea was so good I did not want to leave it.
August I spent at home. I finally managed to read the book by R.L Stine's "Goosebumps". I also began to learn classic Indian flute. This instrument is very beautiful. In the evening, I was walked with friends, together we are having fun.
Tell us more about your visit to Delhi. What was the most unforgettable? What did you eat in the local restaurants?
I look forward to your next letter.
Yours affectionately,
Shivu
