I hope this letter finds you with the best of your health. I received your letter yesterday and I am glad to know that your school session has started after summer vacations and you are working very hard from the very first day. I have made some new friends here in the last two months since I moved here but I miss you a lot.
You have asked me in your letter about my sports competition that was held on the 20th of September in our district. The sports competition was organized in the stadium which was decorated very beautifully with flowers and balloons on that day. Our Principal of the school was the chief guest. He raised the flag with the national anthem and declared the sports day open.
I participated in two events and won the second prize in the 100 meter race. My class fellows took part in various games like high jump, long jump, relay race and various other races. There were some team events as well like football, volleyball and tug of war. The chief guest gave the medals to the winners. I with my friends enjoyed a lot. It was indeed a day of great joy for us, but I missed you.
