Dear Riya,
How are you? I hope you are doing fine. We are all well here. I am writing this letter to let you know how I spent the new years. Firstly, I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year to you and your family. This year due to the coronavirus, we all stayed indoors. So I invited my cousins to my house. We spent the evening indulging in lots of good food and cake. My cousins and I had decorated the house with rice lights and helium balloons all over the place.
My dad was out in the garden with my uncle grilling chicken barbecue. My mum and aunt were in the kitchen cooking up delicious biryani for dinner. We all played games such as who could save their balloons from being burst. Another game we played was dancing as long as the music played and being statues while it was off. The person who moved would be the loser. I had great fun that night.
We brought in the new year around our bonfire and sang songs and danced. It was a really good time. This was followed up by mouth watering food. Finally we called it a night and slept. How did your new year's eve go? Write back to me telling me all about it. I will look forward to your letter. Give my regards to your mother and father.
Yours lovingly,

Dear Akshay
I hope you are doing fine. I am having a good time these days. I am writing this letter to share how I celebrated my birthday this year.
This year I had planned my party differently from the previous years and did not celebrate it at home. My parents had made arrangements in a restaurant. I had invited about fifteen of my friends. We had lots of fun games initially and then there was a dance floor also where we all danced a lot. My friends enjoyed thoroughly and even I had a great time, but I missed you a lot.
Please make a program of visiting Kanpur during the vacations.
Yours truly
Karan
