Dear Rahul,
How are you? Hope fine.
I am writing you this letter to tell my horrific experience which I cannot forget in my entire life.
This day dated 13.02.2019 cannot be forgotten my me as I had very narrow escape from natures fury.
I experienced flood which is the worst part of my life and I always had fear of rivers.
On 13 February I was in my grand parents house in Kerala and they for some important work in town for two days.
Grandparents house was situated near a big river and that day it was raining very heavily.
So I was just inside the house and watching movies and passing the time.
Suddenly during the night time I could hear the sound of big waves in the river and I thought it is normal but during night time suddenly people of the nearby places started to shout.
I just got frightened and came outside the house and found that river was overflowing and was approacching at full speed towards me.
I did not know what to do at that instant; I rushed to the house to grab some useful articles but I could not leave the house as water already reached the house and started to fill up the house.
I was frightened and thought that today is my end but somehow I managed to climb the roof of the house and remained there until morning.
In the morning I could see huge devastation caused by the flood water; there were no house around me and only I was the only one amidst of flood water.
I waited on the roof and prayed God for help and after thirty minutes I could see the boat of rescue workers and shouted at them.
They came and rescued me and provided some food.
Later I narrated the whole incident to my grandparents.
They felt sorry for me and thanked to save me and their house which was not carried away by the flood water. With regards and love
