Dear Aman,

I hope you are doing well and your studies are going well. I received your letter last week and I am so proud of you that you won the first prize in debate competition. Mother and father were very happy to hear this. Now that its winter vacation time, I have written you this letter to tell you about my trip to Manali.

I went to Manali last week with family. We went there through traveler and it was a fun time with family while traveling. We reached there early morning and booked a hotel. There we rested for an hour and unpacked our bags.

Later we went to mall road and shopped many things from there. The next day we went to Solang valley and it was snowing there. It was too much fun to play in the snow. Lastly, on last day, we went to Rohtang pass and it was an adventurous day.

It was a funfilled trip. I will cherish this trip for a lifetime.

Dear Friend
How are you? I hope you are fine. My winter vacation has just finished and I want to share with you the wonderful time I spent with my family in the hill station of Shimla. I really had a jolly good time. We had gone there to witness the first snowfall of the season. Snow fell down like cotton candy. It was so cold that I could not feel my hands or feet despite the many layers of woolens that I wore. We used to go to Ridge for hot steaming coffee and snacks daily, to Lakar bazaar for buying trinkets and to Mall for shopping. It was great fun. It was all so good that I didn't even feel like coming back to home. We clicked many pictures too. I'll show them to you when you'll come here. Do write to me about your experience during the vacation. Give my regards to your parents. Looking forward to meet you next month.
