Answer:
o contain the novel coronavirus pandemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced a nationwide lockdown for 21 days starting March 25. It has been exactly two weeks since we have been confined to our homes and finding new ways to kill time is getting difficult.
The solution to this problem, however, is quite simple. It is not about looking for something new to do. Instead, the answer lies in the things that you used to do in your childhood. We can help.
This article is more of a nostalgic curation, where we take you down the memory lane, and remind you of the things that you used to do in the times of no or minimal internet.
We came up with a list of indoor games that used to be our source of happiness at one point of time. These games were perfect to kill time in school during boring lectures or enjoy with family in the evenings. So, why not relive those memories once again?
Take your pick:
RAJA MANTRI CHOR SIPAHI
Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi
We had to start this list with a classic. This game involves four players. Chits with raja (king), mantri (minister), chor (thief) and sipahi (inspector) written on them are required to be made. Most of you might know how this game works but allow us to brush up your memory slightly. Shuffle the chits thoroughly and let every player pick one. Raja calls out to his mantri and asks him to guess who the chor and sipahi are. If his guess is right, raja gets the highest score, mantri, the second-highest, sipahi, the third-highest and chor gets a zero. If the mantri’s guess is wrong, his score is interchanged with that of the chor. Pro tip: At the end of the game, the one who loses can mop the house.
NAME PLACE ANIMAL THING
Name Place Animal Thing
This is one game that needs no introduction, really. It is exactly what the name suggests. You need at least two people to play this game. Each player takes a piece of paper and makes four columns. Divide these columns into four categories - name, place, animal and thing. One of the players has to pick an alphabet and everyone has to fill in all the categories starting with that letter. The time limit for each round should not exceed over thirty seconds.

The king calls out to his mantra and asks him to guess who the thieves and soldiers are. If their guess is correct, Raja gets the highest score, minister, second-highest, soldier, third-highest and the thief gets a zero. If the minister's estimate is wrong, his points are interchanged with that of the chor.
