Hello Rishi,
Hope you are in good health and in good spirit. I am also fine and well here by God's blessings and grace. I am writing this letter to you to apologise as I was unable to visit you during the summer vacation. I recieved your invitation letter few days ago and I am very glad and thankful that you have invited me to your home. I was also very excited to meet you as we have not met since a long time. Few days after receiving your letter, my mother felt ill. She had high fever and I had to take care of her. She is fine now and taking the medicines.
I know you invited me wholeheartedly and I am very sorry as I couldn't come to your home to meet you. As soon as my mother becomes fully fit and well, I promise you that I will surely come to visit you in your home in weekend when you stay free. Give my regards to uncle and aunt too.
