Since, we are writing letter to our friend .

The format of this letter should be in an informal way.

Generally, informal letters are written to beloved ones .

Beloved ones such as parents , Cousins , family members etc .

However,

On the other hand , letters which are written to high personality people should be in a formal way.

High personality people refers to Head Master , Teachers , The Editors etc.

Some letters which are written to teacher scan also be written in an informal way .

Requesting letter , Complaint letter , Leave letter etc. will be written in a formal way .

My dear Friend ,

I am safe here and hope the same from you . Receiving your letters time to time and what's about you ? in this letter I am going to tell you about the importance of newspaper . This is because I recently heard that you were not reading newspaper and spend your free time unnecessarily .

So, a newspaper is not a ordinary paper. It gives us a knowledge , awareness etc. The newspaper was also once called to be as a " Knowledge Enhancer " . Many great leaders also used to read newspaper so that they can come to know what is going on in the world , what problems are the citizens facing etc . A single 8 - 10 papers newspaper tells us about different things which we can't know by reading a 100 pages book also . Reading newspaper every day helps us to have a good grip in the latest current affairs. Moreover, in many quiz competitions the questions will be mostly prepared from the infomation given in the newspapers . The newspaper also enables us to improve our literature skills .

However, I want to suggest you one thing i.e. try reading a English newspaper instead giving more preference to the newspaper which bis printed in your mother tongue . This is because it will helps us to improve the speaking skills in English and also vocabulary. At last , I want to conclude that don't take this as a silly issue because it make have an impact in your future . Convey my regards to your parents .
