Newspapers give the current news and keep us abreast of the latest developments in technology.They give an insight into the socio-political scenario.Reading a newspaper daily is sure to increase our knowledge of current affairs, and improve our vocabulary: both colloquial and written.Once you start reading a newspaper daily, you realise how interesting it can be: the attractive
advertisements, the funny cartoon strips, the catchy headlines and the engaging stories.
I am a sports enthusiast, and so my personal favourite is the sports section.I also like the columns dedicated to jokes and puzzles.

The reason behind this letter is I want to convey you the importance of reading newspaper through this letter . As you know a single newspaper tells us about many things it has a information which is equal to information gained by reading 100 pages book . By reading this book we will be awarded about the latest current affairs . So, if anyone asks some information regarding that we will able to give answering instantly . Moreover, newspaper can be names as a Knowledge enhancer . This is because only 10 pages of newspaper is giving us so much of Information related to many topics whether it is politics , business etc . Studying newspaper also helps us in clearing the interviews for IAS ( Indian Administrative Service ) .
However , don't prefer to read the newspaper which is printed in your mother tongue try reading it in English because it helps to speak english fluently and also it improves our skills in English . Reading books will not be enough we should also need to read newspaper too. Everything has it's own importance . This what I want to convey you through this letter.
