Dear Grandpa,
I hope that this letter finds you in a
cheer happiness. My studies are going quite well. How are everyone there? We had 5 days as Diwali holidays. This year we celebrated a Pollution free Diwali. It was also quite interesting. I understood this year that burning crackers is not only the way to celebrate Diwali. By burning crackers we are just increasing pollution. Both sound and air pollution. Instead of wasting the money by buying crackers this year we bought sweets and distributed it in the orphanage and old age home. They were quite happy to see us doing this kind thing. We lighted decorated lamps everywhere. And it was looking quite beautiful. I wished that even you and Grandma were with us. My Diwali holidays went quite good. Please write a letter soon stating how did you and Grandma celebrated this Diwali. Eagerly waiting for your letter.
