Dear granny,

It has been so long since I heard from you. I hope you are in the pink of health. Moreover, happy birthday!! I really wished I could be there with you but my exams are going on and I promise to visit you after birthday.

Granny you have always been a sweet to me. When everybody in the house used to scold me you were the one who stood firm for me. Tough sometimes you used to scold me but when you are not with us in our new house I miss those scoldings from you. I remember you used to stand in front of our gate every afternoon and greet me with a big smile after the school. And the delicacies that you made....
Just amazing!

I hope you are taking care of yourself and having your medicines on time. We will be there soon!

Yours lovingly
