Dear grandma,

How are you. Hope you are well and fine, I'm also doing good here. It has been very long since I've written to you, thus, I am writing to you to narrate you my experience of this last Diwali.

As usual, I was super excited for the Diwali festival and my excitement level was really high from the very first day of November 2020. This year, Diwali was on 12th Nov. I and my mother along with my younger brother was busy cleaning our home from a week back. On the day of Diwali, we finally finished the cleaning work and started the rest preparations. The religious ceremony (Puja) was at the evening and we were busy decorating the house. My little sister made a mind-boggling Rangoli in our courtyard. I was really stunned at her work. At the evening, we performed the puja and afterwards, wished everyone in our society by exchanging gifts and healthy blessings. We were also waiting for cracking the fire crackers but due to too much pollution, we avoided fire crackers and made this Diwali an eco-friendly Diwali. This was how I celebrated my Diwali. Give greetings to grandpa and cousins.

your grandson,

Mohit Rathod.
