I am writing this letter to take tell you how worried I am about my ailing grandmother. And to seek permission from you for 3 days leave.

Since few weeks my grandmother is very I'll, she is suffering from cancer (or whatever reason you want). She is at bet rest. She wants to meet me and my parents. My mom already is with her in India. Everyone in our family is very tensed due to this problem. Doctors are trying their best.

I would be obliged if you would grant me the permission for 3 day leave.
