Dear Mom,
I got your letter yesterday. It’s really good to know that you all are doing well. I am doing well and having a great time with classes, studies and new friends. In your letter, you wanted to know about my institute and hostel life so I thought of sharing my thoughts and experiences about these few months.
The institute hostel is quite better than the ones I had heard about from our relatives and my friends who have gone to other colleges. The environment is warm and friendly. The support staff are really great. Their behaviour is polite and they are very helpful. There is an open field in front of my hostel. Also, a basketball court in the campus. My friends and I play there after classes every day. I am very happy here and enjoying every moment being here. I can study attentively. My friends and I do group studies every night to help each other. We do have to follow some rules and regulations like going to bed at 11 every night and waking up at 5 every morning to attend yoga classes encouraged by the hostel and institute staff. The food offered is fresh and also of high quality. The canteen and dining rooms are clean. In a word, it’s awesome!
I really miss you and dad. And how can I forget my naughty brother. Lots of love to him. Would be waiting for your next letter.
