Dear mom,
hello mom! How are you? Hope you and father are doing well at home. I am writing this letter to you to tell you about my hostel life.
A few weeks ago you dropped me in the hostel, remember? At that time, I was pretty scared and nervous. I didn't know want kind of people I was going to encounter about. But then, I met my roommate, Anshika. She really is a nice friend of mine and we get along well. Now I am not scared at all. I have made many friends at the hostel. Together we have lots of fun. Not only we have fun, we also help each other in our studies and doing the other chores such as cooking. Oh, how well you know that I don't even know the basics of cooking! But with my friends' help, I am learning it, little by little. You know, living in a hostel is a nice way to realize about how we have to carry out the household tasks on our own and how to survive at any place, without getting scared. One can't deny the fact that hostel life is tough, but day by day, I am getting hold of it.
Even though I feel so comfortable and nice here, but still I am homesick. I miss you and dad so much. Hope I will meet you both soon. Looking forward to your letter.
