Dear mother,

I hope this letter find you and father in good health. I know that you, like me, are looking forward to my coming home this summer break. But I have agreed to accompany my friend on a trekknig camp to Mussourie and will come home a week after the break starts.

I have always wanted to go on a trekking camp and this will prove a wonderful oppurtunity for me. Sujatha, my friend, me and her sister will be going on this trip on 23.4.2020. We will most probably going by train to Uttarakhand and start trekking from Nainital.  I will furnish other details by next week.

I know that you might be saddened by this news as I didn't come home lest winter break too. But please don't suppose that I prefer Sujatha's company to yours. I will miss you and will eagerly be waiting for the camp to end. Give my best wishes to father and tell him that I miss him.
