A letter to the principal requesting him for a week's leave-

To Principal Sir,

This is Taniya Malhotra, a student of 12th standard, from the commerce stream, belonging to your respectable institution. The motive of writing this letter is an unfortunate event which took place in my hometown.

My Mother met a regrettable accident on the busy roads of Delhi. Though she is out of danger, she is unable to perform any activities without any help. Owing to this situation, I am forced to fly back to Delhi, my hometown to take of this matter. I require one week's leave to settle the state of affairs back in my home.

I hope you understand my circumstance.

From,

Taniya Malhotra
