Dear Ma'am,
I would like to tell you about the one incident where I had acted mischievous and which I now regret with all my heart.
One rainy day, on my way from school, I met a small boy who had seemed to be a beggar. He was under one of the buildings, trying to stay safe from the rains. He asked me if I could help him walk till the nearby metro station under by umbrella. I was a bit skeptical about sharing my space with a beggar, for I did not want people to see me walk with someone so dirty and poor. So, I refused to help him.
After some days, I saw the same by but looking so weakly and sick, not even able to open his eyes, laying on the lap of his mother. his mother was begging, shouting to anyone passing her that her son needs medicines for fever and warm clothes. Even then I did not do anything. But when I told my mom about it, she scolded me for what I had done and how bad it is to ignore helping people.
Thinking back to that scene, I now realize if only I had helped that boy to his destination, who knows he might still be a healthy young little boy and not a burden for his mother. I learned a valuable lesson which I hope I remember every time.
