Dear Uncle,

We all expected you on my birthday. But your letter came in time and let us know why you could not come. And with it came your gift. I was really thrilled to have the camera sent by you. I was delighted to have it. How could you read my mind, Uncle ?? This nice gift of yours made my friends envy me and they wouldn't believe that it was mine and mine alone. I am so proud of it.
