As it is rightly said “Industry is rewarded and idleness punished.” Overconfidence sometimes leads to failure. I know that you are a bright and intelligent student. But you are not diligent. So I advise you to work hard as the examinations are near. Revise your course again and again. Do hard work for the first divison. Nothing less than the first class will satisfy me.
