Its not only decreases the attention of a young star but also reduces the amount of constructive work that they can do. Young stars have the capability to achieve something which would help them and the people around them. However people are nowadays in crossed in social media. This has a very harmful effect on the mind of the children.
Also their academic performance and hardworking ability has decreased a lot. So it is my earnest request to you to get rid of this addiction as soon as possible and emphasize on academics and personal interests.
