Dear Aheli,

How have you been? How did your term exams go? We missed you so much at the Western Dance Festival last weekend! I can't wait to talk about the event!

Reliance Industries had sponsored this event last Sunday at EZCC, hosted by our Alma mater! So, Miss Lorna got us the passes for the festival. Mummy was excited to see Mamata Shankar on stage! The festival began with the inauguration ceremony at 5 pm by the Honourable Chief Minister and the Minister of Cultural Affairs. The first event was the opening solo performance by Mamata Shankar, followed by a dance recital of Lord Krishna's birth by her troupe. The famous West India Authority presented a jugalbandi - one group danced on rap songs, while another group were alternatively dancing on classical music. However, the best moment was the dance recital of Balmiki Pratibha by Alokananda Roy and her team. It was breathtaking!

When are you coming home? We have to shop for the Durga Pujas! Bring along your best friend too!

With love,

Anju

Dear Ranja,

I hope you are doing well. It has been a long time since we met.  I hope your studies are going well. Recently, I attended a dance festival and missed you so much. I know how much you love dancing so let me tell you that it was a grand show and will be aired on television.

It was organised by an organisation, DCDA and was completely dedicated to classical dance. I registered myself for the show and got an opportunity to showcase my talent. Tanushree Shankar was invited as the chief guest. Most of the dancers invited to the programme were well-known faces and they gave their best to make it a success. Though I couldn't get any award it was a moment worth remembering.

It was a privilege for me to be a part of such a grand show. It could have been even better with your company. Don't miss the show on television next week. I hope things go well and we get to meet soon. Take care of yourself and come back soon.

Yours lovingly,

Rishita
