Dear younger brother,

Congratulations on being promoted to the higher secondary school!

I hope you understood the importance of studies and career by now. This is one of the most important phases of your life. Don't worry about the obstacles you may face. You firmly have my back.

In all this fast paced life,it can be both easy or hard to maintain a good position in life or one can even completely ruin his/her life by making wrong choices. You may have your parents' support sometimes. But,if you walk on the wrong path ,they will surely not be that much trustworthy of you. But,someone out there unconditionally loves us both. They are our grandparents.

Grandparents have a special place in all their grandchildren's heart. They are so loving and caring but sometimes they feel sad when they are abandoned. I am telling you that they do not have much to give us in the form of materialistic things but ask them for their unconditional love or compassion, they surely will give you that in abundance.

Ask your grandfather for a walk in the park and ask him to share incidents from his wonderful old days. He will be overjoyed and enthusiastically get involved in a conversation with you.

Ask your grandma for her favorite old recipe or how she dealt with her children when they were of your age. She will have a bunch of stories to tell.

Tell them you love them very much, because your parents may fail to express that they love yo ,but grandparents always show that they love you, through their actions.

So care for them,be with them, share their pain and bring smile on their faces everyday.I try to do the same and expect you to do the same too.

I am waiting for your answer.Do write back soon.

                                                                                        your loving brother,

                                                                                           Rohan
