Dear Mita,
From mother’s letter I came to know that you do not rise early in the morning. Rising late is surely a bad habit. You have perhaps read the rhyme ”Cocks crow in the morn to tell us to rise, And he who lies late can never be wise.” So you must get up early. It will give you a good start for the whole day’s work.
If you do it, you can see the beauty of the rising sun. You can see the dews on the grass heads in autumn and hear the first song of the birds in all seasons. Remember that the early bird catches the worm. And so you can catch your daily routine properly. In fact, in the morning our minds are receptive enough like a clean slate.
You can get your lesson by heart easily in the morning. Moreover, the habit of early rising will build up your body too as you can breathe the pollution-free air at that time. It will supply you a fresh fund of energy and your mind will be gay since day-break. Thus you can find that early rising is a joy, not a pain.
The old proverb goes: “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.” Do please write to me in your reply by the return of post that you have started rising early. With love and best wishes,
Yours Sincerely,
Sabita

My dear Minu,
I understand that now-a-days you are not seriously concentrating on your studies. You are now a grown up girl. You must understand that by neglecting your studies, you will be doing harm to your future career. This is the time to build up the career with honest efforts. If necessary, you may join a coaching class for help. I shall write to our father to pay for it.
Please write to me if you have any personal problems. Accept me not only as your beloved sister, but also as an intimate friend to whom you may easily open your mind. I am ready to guide and help you in all matters.
Your affectionately
Didi

Dear sister,
I'm fine. How are you? I hope everyone is also healthy and fine at home. I have received a letter from mother. She was very upset and worried as you most often find reasons to skip going to school. I would like to suggest that you should not miss going to school without any valid reason. The school helps in cultivating many ideas and helps to enhance your abilities. If you have any other reason besides this, you can write to me. I would advise you to attend the classes regularly.
Give love to Rahul and mom and dad.
Your loving sister
Riya
