Dear friend,

How are you? Everything is well at my end and hope the same with you. In this letter, I wanted to advise you to restrict the use of smartphones. The most harmed one is the youth generation who is getting addicted more towards the mobile phone. Conventional outdoor games have been replaced by mobiles phones and the games on the computer. This has made the children less social in the real world and more active in the virtual world. Also has led to an increase in the eyesight problem of the children at an early age as well. Although it has become a necessity today, still there needs to be an awareness among the people as to how to effectively use mobile phones. Hence, you need to restrict the use of phones at the maximum in order to utilize the time in your studies.

For now, I’m ending the letter. Will talk about it more in another letter. Take care of yourself.

Your loving friend

Hello Mira,

It was really nice to receive a letter from your end. But one thing is worrying me a lot. You mentioned about your son’s addiction towards smartphone. I guess you should not take this lightly. I can wel understand that in this era any individual is almost cripple unless he or she possess this high end device. But don’t you feel for a teenager like Ravi, this can prove to be highly disastrous. Infact the more he will use it more he will get addicted. That will cut him from the outside world. He will not socialize much or wont have a healthy friend circle like we had in our days. Moreover, the major part is this is his time to build his future. So if he is glued to mobile for entire day now, when will he get time to invest time in studies. His tenth exam is coming. Being a responsible parent you should take an immediate step .Make him understand that after his exam he can use the mobile but not prior to that. He is wasting his own life due to this momentary pleasure.

Hope you will take my suggestion seriously. With lot of love,

From Sunita.
