Answer: Greed makes us want more than we need and proves to be detrimental in the long run. Hence we should make conscious efforts to not be greedy and even sharing the same thought to our friends and close ones. Hence writing a letter to my friend advising him not to be greedy.

How are you? I am doing well and hope you are sailing on the same boat. It was lovely to read your letter after long.
I was sipping my cup of coffee when just a random thought crossed my mind so just thought of sharing with you. I was just wondering how people around me have become so greedy, running aimlessly and tirelessly towards wealth and fame. I simply wanted to let you know that having or showing greed is bad for everyone. Even while it could be advantageous for the person right now, there will eventually be negative effects. Therefore, it is best to avoid greedy individuals or even to abstain from committing the sin of greed oneself.
