SAVE ENVIRONMENT
Environment is the surroundings that is present around us. There are a lot of natural and man-made resources present in our environment. But due to lack of awareness, carelessness and urbanization, most of our natural resources and environment is getting damaged.
One of the main reason for environmental degradation is pollution. It not just affects the environment but also affect the biological web chain. If any one part of environment is disturbed, the entire ecosystem would be affected and causes environmental degradation.
Other reasons include deforestation, industrialization, over use of plastics, improper disposal of wastes and so on. Some of the ways that could be followed to save our environment is by planting trees (afforestation), switching to alternatives such as use of biodegradable materials such as paper bags, jute bags instead of plastics. It is an eco-friendly option and causes no harm to environment.
The use of 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) should be emphasized greatly so that all the unwanted products could be either reused, reduced or recycled easily. Use of Public Transport can be used more than using private vehicles for short distances so that the energy consumption could be minimized and pollution could be controlled.
Industrial areas should use proper treatment procedures before waste disposal and the industrial areas should be covered with a belt of trees so as to reduce the effect of harmful pollutants.
Moreover, common people should be given awareness about the importance of sustainable environment and eco-friendly living. People should be taught on co-existence with harmony with environment by creating rallies, campaigns, posters etc..,
It is in the hands of every citizen to protect and save our environment as the mother nature is for a sustainable living.
SAVE EARTH! SAVE ENVIRONMENT! SAVE NATURE! SAVE MOTHER EARTH!
