HOW TO MAKE INDIA CLEAN: A MESSAGE TO THE INDIAN PRIME MINISTER
India's pristine glory can only be regained if we clean up our public places as those places are a reflection of who we are and the way we live. Besides, with a healthy environment, diseases can be kept at bay, foreign tourists will flock this wonderful country in greater numbers and the country will look prettier.
We must first stop throwing trash around. Either bins should be installed and used in public places or we must carry bags with us for carrying trash home, where they should be disposed. Plastic bag usage must be stopped. Defacement of walls and buildings with graffiti writing and poster sticking must be made illegal. Advertisement hoardings must be fewer in number and better arranged; they must not form a clutter, as seen in cities today. Railway stations, hospitals, shopping malls, cinema halls, tourist spots etc must be made cleaner. River fronts and sea beaches must be tidied up.
It would become easier to do all of the above if the desire to remain clean comes from within. With this in mind, we must begin teaching our children and youth about cleanliness in schools, colleges and universities, just as we address older people through campaigns over mass media.

Consider everywhere you go as your home… And then keep your home clean.
Keep the wrapper in pocket or bag and throw in a dustbin later when you find one.Keep a small car dustbin.
You can make one at home like I did, it's simple. Google it. Seriously, don't throw anything from your window.
Buy a pet poop scooper and use it when you take your pet for a walk.
Stop polluting rivers and other water bodies in the name of religion and god.
Contact municipality or society RWA to have a toilet made for those who don't live there like labours, maids etc.
