Answer:
Claim 2: The South American Plate and the African Plate moved gradually. Based on evidence card D, these plates move apart from each other at the rate of 3.0 cm in one year which is slow. These plates move slowly from each other. Also, if the plates had moved suddenly, we would have felt it. If we don’t feel the plates, it means that the plates are moving slowly.

Hello Dr. Bayard Moraga,
Hope you are doing well.
This message is to give information about the Mesosaurus exhibiting in the Museum Of West Nambia.
- Mesosarus is found to be a lizard-like animal, huge in size.
- It is found to be an ancestor of the lizard family.
- Mesosaurus fossils were found and they were found to washed towards the ocean bed.
- These fossils got separated due to the movement of the earth's continent from one place to another by which fossils moved and drifted away.
- This occurred due to a motion called plate motion.
- The American and African plate moved, as they were first origined from there, they too had fossils but it got to come across here due to the plate shift.
