“What’s that?”, I cried as I woke up by the horror sound of a tiger or a lion. We were lost in a dense, lonely jungle. I didn’t have the courage to talk, and she didn’t have the courage to open her eyes. I tried to make her feel comfortable, but it seemed as she had a phobia of darkness. Although I was tired, I remain awaked as there were wild animals around and she needed rest. “Is everything okay?”, she asked me. I was surprised when I heard these words from her mouth. “Yes…. Yes it is.”, I said, assuring her of our safety. I knew we cannot stay here. But I was afraid of getting lost again in the darkness. Around midnight, she asked me to rest. “I am okay.” I said. The tree under which we were sleeping started shaking. I was scared. But she didn’t seemed to be bothered by this. In fact, she asked me to sleep and let it be as it is. Soon ,a snake came out of the bushes but she made it go away. I wondered,“ We getting lost, shaking tree, snake, in all these incidents, she was so calm. How is it possible?” I couldn’t think anymore because of being tired. I slept a while and when woke up, asked her about it. She told me that she did knew about these incidents. I was surprised. “Does she possess some powers?”. We then went to our homes in the morning.
