A farewell ceremony was arranged in honor of the outgoing students of S.T. High School and College on 5th March 2014. The students of class x along with other junior students organized it. The function began at 3 p.m. with recitation from the holy Quran. Then the students were offered floral wreaths. Many guardians, teachers, students and education enthusiasts attended the party. Some students delivered their speech on behalf of the students of the school. A good number of candidates also addressed the gathering. Their speeches were heart touching. Many students could not help shedding tears. They expressed their deep love and gratitude to the teachers for their teaching. Next the teachers wished the students welfare and advised them to prepare themselves to serve the nation in future. Some guests also addressed in the same way. Finally, the participants were served packet snacks. The program came to an end at about 6 p.m.

DEPARTING TEACHER GIVEN FAREWELL.
DPS School, New Delhi, 20th January 2020 :- A farewell was organized for our associate teacher of General Science, Mrs. Kumud Mehta who has been part of the DPS family for the last 11 years. She had been the committed, honest and sincere teacher of our school for the past 11 years and has given exceptional support and guidance to the young minds.
The function started at 11 in the morning with the performance of a group of girls who sang chorus. Then , Mrs. Mehta was called on the stage and was honoured by the Principal and then the founder of the school Mr. Awasti. Mr. Awasti then delivered an impressive speech on the contributions done by Mrs. Mehta in shaping the young minds. Then all of her colleagues and some of the students shared their heartfelt messages for her and their amazing experiences with her. Mrs. Mehta was overwhelmed with the speeches made by all the people and promised to keep helping the school and serving the society in all her means. And at last she was presented with tokens and gifts from her colleagues and students.
