THe waters in rivers, seas and oceans are getting more polluted due to human activity. According to a report by the SSCS (Sea Shepherd Conservation Society) almost one milllion fish species are facing extinction. In one year SSCS saved the lives of 50% of the ocean's whales by taking action against japanese whalers.

The rivers are polluted mainly due to rural activity, like shortage of water and washing clothes.
