INTER-HOUSE DEBATE COMPETITION
On 25th November 2018, Capital Public school observed its Inter-school debate Competition for the secondary and senior secondary classes. To bring life in a classroom, debate plays a crucial role in nurturing rational thinking among students. It persuades students to thinks rationally and encourages them for public speaking.
The program began following the speech from principal Mr. ABC sir and then children began debating on different topics. Some of the topics were patriotism, women empowerment, childhood and so forth. The judges to this program were Mr. Priyam Singh, Head of Department of English and Mrs. Madhur, head of Department of Hindi from Delhi University.
Students were judged on the parameters like voice, confidence, presentation, and modulation.
From ABC school, Rishabh of class 7th stood first. The second and third position was grabbed by Shruti and Mahir from XYZ and ABC schools respectively. The position holders were applauded and were given cash prize by the chief guest Shiela Dixit.
