The school celebrated World Environment Day and Kabir Jayanti through an e-class programme. On this occasion, students took part in many online activities. They made eco–friendly bags, posters and wrote slogans on the theme ‘save environment’. They also planted saplings at their homes. Pupils also remembered the great saint of Bhakti Cult Kabir Das and incorporated his teachings and couplets in their writings and reflected on his life and times. Managing Director Vasu Soni, Administrator Poonam Soni, Academic Director Ravinder Pathania, Academic Administrator Anita Pathania and Principal Sunny Jaswal advised the children to protect the natural environment and take measures to engage in environment-friendly activities.
World Environment Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, wherein various activities were designed for students to perform from their homes thus keeping them aware of the environment issues. Montessori pupils enjoyed playing online Nature scavenger games and recited poems on Nature. Poster making and slogan writing activities were organised for classes I to V to sensitise them to the issues of climate change, deterioration of natural resources, etc. The activities helped the children hone their creative skills.
This year’s theme ‘Time for Nature’ on World Environment Day focussed on the role of environment in supporting life on the Earth and human development. The day was celebrated with vigour amidst the lockdown. Students created awareness through online activities like slogan writing, bookmark making and tree plantation at their homes.
