People wore cotton and woollen garmentstwo piece dresses worn by both men and woman. The men wore garments similar to the Dhoti while the woman wore skirts . Upper garment was a shawl worn around the shoulder .

Both men and women wore ornaments they wore necklaces amulets and fingerings . the woman also wore headdresses earrings bangles and ornaments made of gold silver and ivory. The poor wore ornaments made of shell bone and copper jewellery
