Los Angeles, 02, February: It has been announced that Pandit Ravi Shankar would be honoured posthumously “Lifetime Achievement” at the Grammy Award which is to be held on 10th February. He is a “three-time Grammy award winner” and was a “True Ambassador” in making Indian Music International.
He was a considered as a great performer and he was the one who brought Indian Music to the West. He also taught music and composed many albums. He had reached millions of people for more than Eighty Years. His music is appreciated by many leading musicians like “The Beatles”, “Philip Glass” etc. His daughters “Norah Jones and Anoushka Shanker” are also musicians and are influenced by his music.
