   Inter-School Debate Contest Held At Capital Public School

 

Capital Public School, Hisar held inter-school debate competition on June 13, 2018. As many as 56 participants from 28 schools took part in it. the auditorium had been impressively decorated.

Mr. Hemant Sinah, the mayor of the city had been invited as the chief guest. The jury consisted of Professor, Nita Miglani, and Professor, Mr. Anant Kapoor. The programme started with invocation to Sarswati followed by a welcome song.

Talented and budding orators spoke in favor and against the motion ‘Dreams Are a Link Between Real and Imaginary World’. Jaskaran Singh from Greenwoods Global bagged the first position and Jessica Chawla was the first runner up.

The competition concluded with the prize distribution and refreshment was given to all the participants and the accompanying teachers.

A Report on Debate Competition

$\sf\green{➳}$ An inter-school Debate Competition was held at our school premises on 5th June, 2014 at 10 a.m. on the occasion of World Environment Day. Students from Dagaon Jatiya Vidyalay and Juria Girls’ High School also took part in the competition.

Mr XYZ, an assistant teacher of our school anchored the competition. He selected the participants and set the motion of the debate – “Use of polythene bags should be avoided”. Some participants argued for the motion and some against the motion. The audience highly appreciated the debate. At the end of debate, the mothers of the students were put to vote. The team led by Md ABC of Kandhulimari Serajia High School won the debate competiton.
