The Government of India has identied 8

RMNCH+A is a comprehensive strategy
adopted by NRHM, based on lifecycle
approach for improving maternal and child
health outcomes. RMNCH+A stands for
Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and
Adolescent Health. The Plus is included to
bring focus on adolescence as an important
stage of life where key interventions should
be made and also means that services in the
homes and community should be linked to
