Yesterday, residents of Mizoram witnessed huge thunder strikes and lightning  which lasted for several hours. Luckily no person was harmed during this.

It was around 10 at the night that people in Mizoram was shook by the thunder strikes and lightning. Lightning struck at one of the oldest trees in town.

'I had never seen anything like this! I was so afraid to come out!' reported Ashok who owned a shop at Mizoram.

Weather experts further predict that there will be again thunder strikes and lightning in the coming week.
