1). Striated muscle consists of two types of tissues, Cardiac muscle and skeletal muscle.

2). Cardiac muscles are found on the panel of the heart.

3). Skeletal muscles are attached to the bone.

Significance:-

1). Striated muscles allow us to move by repeated  relaxation and contraction

2). It maintains a perfect posture in our body.

3). It fixes the joints and produces heat in our body through the function of muscle.

Structure:-

1). Skeletal muscle-Skeletal muscle is an organ in the muscular system and it can vary in different size and shape.

2). Cardiac muscle-It is highly constituted of cells and connected with the internal discs, Disc contains desmosomes and gap junctions.

Muscular tissue is composed of Contractile proteins inside cell. The Group of muscle fibres are known as Muscle.

There are three types of Muscle:-
1). Striated Muscle
2). Unstriated muscle
3). Cardiac Muscle

1). Striated Muscle are also known as Striped Skeletal or Voluntary Muscle.

i). It bears striations in the form of alternate light and dark bands.

ii). The fibres has blunt ends.

iii). The muscle has ability to contract rapidly thus it is responsible for quick movements.

iv). The muscle is known as Voluntary Muscle because their contractions is under the controls of will.

v). They get fatigue soon.

Location :- They are found in the limbs, face, neck and body wall.

Function :-

i). It controls the breaking, chewing and swallowing food.

ii). It helps in breathing Activity via Diaphragm.

iii). The muscle controls the blinking of eyes.

iv). It helps in the movement of body.
