Answer:

hope it's helps you

Explanation:

A natural disaster is a major adverse event resulting from natural processes of the Earth; examples include floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, storms, and other geologic processes. A natural disaster can cause loss of life or damage property,[1] and typically leaves some economic damage in its wake, the severity of which depends on the affected population's resilience and on the infrastructure available

In modern times, the divide between natural, man-made and man-accelerated is quite difficult to draw[3][4][5] with human choices like architecture,[6] fire,[7][8] resource management[8][9] or even climate change[10] potentially playing a role. An adverse event will not rise to the level of a disaster if it occurs in an area without vulnerable population.[11][12] In a vulnerable area, however, such as Nepal during the 2015 earthquake, an adverse event can have disastrous consequences and leave lasting damage, which can take years to repair.

A landslide is described as an outward and downward slope movement of an abundance of slope-forming materials including rock, soil, artificial materials, or a combination of these.[13]

During World War I, an estimated 40,000 to 80,000 soldiers died as a result of avalanches during the mountain campaign in the Alps at the Austrian-Italian front. Many of the avalanches were caused by artillery fire.[14][15]

Earthquakes

An earthquake is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves. At the Earth's surface, earthquakes manifest themselves by vibration, shaking, and sometimes displacement of the ground. Earthquakes are caused by slippage within geological faults. The underground point of origin of the earthquake is called the seismic focus. The point directly above the focus on the surface is called the epicenter. Earthquakes by themselves rarely kill people or wildlife — it is usually the secondary events that they trigger, such as building collapse, fires, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions, that cause death. Many of these can possibly be avoided by better construction, safety systems, early warning and planning

Hurricanes and tropical storms.

Landslides & debris flow.

Thunderstorms and lighting.

Tornadoes.

Tsunamis.

Wildfire.

Winter and ice storms.

Sinkholes.

are the natural disasters

ᴛꜱᴜɴᴀᴍɪ:

a tsunami is also called as the series of ocean waves that have a very long wavelength. ... Because of the tsunami, there are strong waves of water is formed and this moves landwards. So, this causes inland movement of water which is very high and lasts for a long time.

ꜱɪɴᴋʜᴏʟᴇꜱ:

Sinkholes are cavities in the ground that form when water erodes an underlying rock layer.

Two types of sinkholes exist. One forms when the roof of a cave collapses and exposes the underground cavern. The second type forms when water dissolves the rock underneath soil and creates an underground chasm. Without rock to support it, the soil layer collapses and creates a hole on the surface.

ʜᴜʀʀɪᴄᴀɴᴇꜱ:

A hurricane is an intense tropical low-pressure area with winds that are 120 kilometers per hour or greater. Hurricanes are also called tropical cyclone or typhoon. The most damage a hurricane does is when the storm surges hits. Storm surges are currents. They form when the hurricane piles up water along the shore and then blows it inland. They are much more damaging during high tide. Hurricanes grow larger and more powerful from the vast amounts of energy that go into them by condensing water vapor. Unlike a tornado hurricanes have no fronts. The middle of a hurricane is called the eye. The eye of the storm is usually 15 to 150 kilometers in diameter. However because the air in the eye in sinking there is no rain. There is almost no wind either.

ᴛʜᴜɴᴅᴇʀꜱᴛʀᴏᴍꜱ:

Thunderstorms are local storms characterized by swift upward movement of air and heavy rainfall with cloud thunder and lightning. According to A.N. Strahler “a thunderstorm is an intense local storm associated with large, dense cumulonimbus clouds in which there are very strong updraft of air.”

ᴛᴏʀɴᴀᴅᴏꜱ:

Tornadoes form when warm, humid air collides with cold, dry air. The denser cold air is pushed over the warm air, usually producing thunderstorms. The warm air rises through the colder air, causing an updraft. The updraft will begin to rotate if winds vary sharply in speed or direction.
