↪Inter Tropical Convergence Zone

• It is the converging place for the northeast and southeast trade winds.
• Its value is 0° as it lies on the standard latitude Equator.
• The ITCZ shifts a few degrees to the north in Summer as the Sun's apparent postion shifts on the Tropic of Cancer.
• This attracts the South eastern trade winds crossing Equator , and then enters India whuch are called Southwest monsoon winds.
