Agriculture began about 10,000 years ago. Till 10,000 BCE, nomadic people would wander in groups from place to place in search of food and shelter They ate raw fruits and vegetables or hunted animals for food. Later they began cultivating land to produce wheat, rice and other crops. Agricultural operations have undergone drastic changes from primitive times in order to meet the demand for food supply for the growing population. Modern agricultural practices are technically more advanced and efficient in crop production and management​.

Agriculture was introduced around 10000 years a ago. Earlier people were not knowing about agriculture and were totally dependent on hunting animals and eating fruits. But later they began to cultivate lands to grow wheat and rice with the help of traditional methods. But then slowly and gradually the methods became modern and also the production started increasing. So this is how the agriculture evolved.
