There are basically five states of matter, but only three states are common to us. The five states are :

Solid
Liquid
Gas
Plasma
Bose Einstein Condensates

Plasma

This state is not common in earth, but is common in the universe. It consist of high charged particles with high kinetic energy. The noble gases ( Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon and Radon ) are used to make glowing signs by using electricity to ionized them into plasma. Stars are super heated balls of plasma.

Bose Einstein Condensates

This is a combination of laser and magnets. At a low temperature, molecular motion comes very close to stopping altogether. Since there is no kinetic energy being transferred from one atom to another, the atoms begin to clump together. There is now no small atoms, but there is a ' Super Atom '.

Solid- solid have high density . solid cannot change its shape and size. solid have high fo
rce of attraction.
Liquid- liquid change its shape . liquid have less force of attraction.
Gas- gas can chane it's shape and size . gas have very less force of attraction.
