General features of angiosperms:

These plants bear flowers that consist of four whorls – calyx, corolla, androecium, and gynoecium.Seeds develop inside the ovary, which develops into a fruit.

The embryos inside the seeds contain cotyledons. The cotyledons are called embryonic leaves. When the seeds germinate, the leaves come out. They turn green and start photosynthesizing. These cotyledons (inside a seed) may be one or two in number.

Hola!!

here's your answer:

1) This word is made up of two Greek words: ''angio'' means covered and "sperma" means seed.

2) The seeds develop inside an organ which is modified to become a fruit.

3)These are also called flowering plants. Plant embryos in seeds have structures called "cotyledons". Cotyledons are also called 'seed leaves' because in many instances they emerge and become green when the seed germinates.

4) Angiosperms are divided into two groups on the basis of the number of cotyledons present in the seed -
i) plants with seeds having a single cotyledon are called monocots.
ii) plants with seeds having two cotyledons are called dicots.

hope this helps ☺️!!
