bacteria are microscopic and single celled organisms .they are Spherical and comma shaped they are found everywhere even in air and water also .

they are the simplest prokaryotic organisms .they lack organelles like chloroplast , mitochondria endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi Complex etc.....nucleus is absent the genetic material is in the form of single circular DNA molecule italize made in the centre of cell protocaryote.bacteria have ribosomes for protein synthesis .

some materials are used in medicines, serums, preparation of curd , cheese. manufacturing of vinegar etc....
